The Rock Island Depot, located at 201 East Street Sioux Falls, South Dakota, used to be a rail station. It opened in 1886 to serve Rock Island's predecessors: Burlington, Cedar Rapids, and Northern Railway.

The railroad system spread through South Dakota, and Sioux Falls became the state’s primary transportation hub.

The station served passenger trains until 1970.

The Historic Train Station is now one of the National Register of Historic Places following its closure on February 15, 1974.
